Frost on a needle leaf tree.
I took my camera with me on a winter walk hoping for a few opportunities to take pictures. I discovered that my long lens is not as good as it once was, so most of my images were binned. However, this one I kept. Even though not sharp, I liked the golden glow on the evergreen needles.
September 2, 2018. A very dry summer has led to an early autumn. A fire ban has been in effect in our locale for some time now. Many of the leaves are curling up, turning brown, and falling off trees. This normally happens at the end of September through mid-October.
Light breaks in as storm clouds approach.
While visiting my folks I took a few shots of an evening sky from their balcony. The top two shots were taken with a 24-70mm lens, the third with a telephoto lens to capture the golden light coming from the bottom of the cloud layer.
