June 6, 2019. The front yard, evening. Dandelion seeds preparing to depart.
Guttation in the green grass.
After a much needed rainfall I headed outside to take some pictures of water drops. As I was doing so, I noticed this very small spider on its web in an evergreen tree.
A windy day doesn’t make for great macro photos outdoors, but I like how tenaciously (is that a word?) this dragonfly hangs on to the plant. Wandering around our great big yard brought this discovery, as I had up to this moment not seen, or captured, a red dragonfly.
Can you tell me what story this rocket is from?
A water drop on a fern leaf in the backyard. You do not have to travel far to find a photographic opportunity.
None of the shots that I took today as part of my personal project (fruit in effervescent water) turned out the way I intended. However, I did notice the bubbles in the bottom of the aquarium and focused on those instead. The distortion of the glass and the blue tones of the background paper created an abstract feel to this capture.
