What Sets Humans Apart

In the car on the way to youth group.

A discussion between father and daughter about structures, specifically bees and why they build honeycombs using hexagons.

The question raised by the father: “Why didn’t humans naturally build structures the same way as bees?”

The daughter thinks for a bit, then shares: “Animals have a deep, instinctual ‘knowing’. Maybe God wanted humans to discover things for ourselves, and that is what sets humans apart.”
